Simon Rycroft to Feature in New SU4IP Artist Book

Yesterday was a good day. Not only was it the first day my work was physically on display in the Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield, but I also received confirmation that 2 of my pieces had been accepted to be featured in the next instalment of the Artist Book series by SU4IP.

This edition is titled “Favourit” with the theme of artists showcasing their favourite work. It is hugely exciting to know my work will be featured alongside so many talented artists. A double page spread in print!

Sunspots Selected for Cista Arts “Radiant Horizons” Exhibition

Wall art of the sun

The exhibition celebrates the radiant beauty of landscapes and their limitless possibilities. Diverse artistic interpretations were invited that capture nature’s brilliance, from dawn’s first light to twilight’s glow.

Submissions needed to embody the inspiring allure of horizons, symbolising hope, adventure, and new beginnings. I am delighted that the selection panel deemed that “Sunspots” met this brief.

This will be an online exhibition that runs for the whole of July 2024.

4 Pieces Accepted for MonART Digital Exhibition

Although this is not the first exhibition my work has been accepted for, the MonArt digital exhibition “Muse” starts in just a few days, so it will be the very first time any of my art has been displayed publicly. This marks a hugely significant personal milestone.

The exhibition will be held at Fox Yard Stdio in Stowmarket, UK, from 18th to 23rd June 2024.
