An abstract representation of our beautiful sun, using the circle packing technique. We usually think of the sun as a featureless bright yellow circle. Modern astrophotography reveals it is much more complex and nuanced, as I’ve striven to capture in thousands of individual coloured circles, ranging from almost black to the brightest white.
